APPLICATION

TEMPORARY WEAR

Wear time: Special events, a few days.

Apply with: MY PREP KIT

1)PREP

Start with clean nails. File your nails shorter and push back your cuticles.

2) BUFF [optional]

LIGHTLY buff your bare nail.  Sticky things LOVE a rough surface. If your nails are too smooth or shiny then the adhesive tab will start to lift pretty quickly.  A little light buffing avoids that.  Skip this if you want to wear them for a few hours.

3) WIPE

Use an alcohol pad to wipe over your nail.  This removes oils, dirt and moisture.  Prepping the natural nail for the adhesive tabs.

4) NAIL ADHESIVE TABS

Lift the tab from the backing sheet. [Tweezers can help]. Place on your nail with the curve part at your cuticle.  Press down firmly.

5) APPLY

At a slight angle, place the press on nail into the cuticle area of your natural nail, then place down.  Hold for 10 seconds.

15 - 20 seconds makes them last even longer.  The pressure increases the strength of the bond between the adhesive tab, the press on nail and your nail.

LONG WEAR

Wear time: A week - 2 weeks+

Apply with: MY PREP KIT OR MY DELUXE PREP KIT

1) PREP

Start with clean nails.  File your nails shorter and push back your cuticles.

2) BUFF

Lightly buff your bare nails. This creates the perfect surface for the nail glue to stick to.  Don't rough them up to oblivion, but you should remove any shine from your natural nail.

3) WIPE

Use an alcohol pad or my cleansing solution that comes in the DELUXE PREP KIT to clean away nail filings and dehydrate your nail bed of its natural oils.  If you want your press on nails to stay on longer this is 100% necessary!

4) GLUE

I have been in the Nail Industry for over 23 years and I have tried a ridiculous amount of different brand nail glues over the years.

I am pleased to have now found a company that manufactures my amazing nail glue that will make your press on nails last even longer.

Apply nail glue to your natural nail.  FOR SUPER LONG WEAR: Apply nail glue to the back of the press on nail as well.  This creates a double bond = more wear time!

5) APPLY

At an angle, place the false nail near the cuticle and then place down.  Press down and hold for 20 seconds.  Wipe away any excess glue immediately with alcohol wipe or my cleansing solution.

Avoid Submerging in Water

After applying your press-on nails, it’s important that you avoid submerging them in any kind of water for at least 24 hours. Soaking your press-on nails in water could potentially weaken them and break down the glue bonds, cutting your manicure’s staying power down significantly.

ULTIMATE WEAR

Wear time: 3 weeks+

Apply with: MY ULTIMATE PREP KIT

1) PREP

For the longest-lasting press on mani, clip your natural nails short.

Next use cuticle nippers to remove any dead cuticle. “Do not trim live tissue, only dry dead cuticle should be removed.”

2) BUFF

Use the nail buffer block to remove shine from natural nails.

With the nail file lightly rough up the nail surface then use the dusting brush to remove nail dust.

3) WIPE

Apply the Nail Cleaning solution to a lint free pad and clean all nails thoroughly or use prep pads.

4) DEHYDRATE

Apply one thin coat of My Nail dehydrator to all your natural nails. “This will remove any excess oil from your nails.

5) PRIME

You can then apply a thin coat of My Acid Free Nail Primer. “This will help your press on nails last even longer.”

6) GLUE

• Apply one nail at a time. “One finger at a time, cover your whole nail with glue, then align the press-on with your nail bed and press down firmly for 20 seconds.”

7) NAIL HEALTH

With Cuticle Oil you will be able to allow your nails to remain flexible without breaking. Apply cuticle oil daily. It is light and not greasy. If applied in the right amount, it will keep the skin and nails hydrated without causing lifting. Cuticle oil also keeps the natural nail hydrated so it does not start to pull away from the press on nails. This helps the press on nails from popping off prematurely.

Use this after the 4 hour mark after application.
